I’m a photographer and traveler who is convinced that even the most humble moments hold a graceful story within. In documenting a family in their home, wandering the streets of a new city, or photographing a well-designed wedding, I seek the essential, elegant, and unexpected. Most of all, I value the fellow seekers I meet on my journey (nice to meet you!)- who continue to inspire curiosity, creativity, and compassion in my work and life.
“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
— Aaron Siskind
I’ve always felt I was an artist but didn’t find my medium right away. I actually spent most of my life training as a classical ballerina, which, among other things, gifted me with an understanding of the human form, an eye for line and movement, and a knack for visual storytelling.
Outside of photography, I love to cook with the seasons (with dreams of an urban vegetable garden), stay in tune with my body through dance and yoga, and plan my next adventure.
