I met Jill five years ago, halfway across the world in Gulu, Uganda – and it turns out we grew up in the same hometown. It’s funny how big the world is, and how small. Since then, I’ve had the most fun staying in touch with Jill, watching her confidently navigate her career, cook a lot of mouth-watering gluten-free food in various incredible and remote camping spots, and grow an incredible community around love, presence, and joy.
And then, I watched as Forrest start making appearances in her adventures until one night on a ferry he proposed with an heirloom family ring. I’m in awe of the supportive, joyful life these two have created together and the insanely strong community they’ve attracted around them. I can’t wait to capture their beautiful wedding in September.
